Cycle through our pictures on this page for mounting ideas! The locking design secures your fence stretcher in any 360 degree orientation. Most applications are mounted as seen in the pictures, but the Stretcher Saddle will perform the same wether vertical, horizontal, or even upside down!

How to mount your Stretcher Saddle:

Step 1: Place a fence stretcher in your Stretcher Saddle. Hold them in the mounting area to confirm clearance required for the fence stretcher. When mounting to headache racks on pickups, allow enough vertical room to remove the stretcher from the Stretcher Saddle.

Step 2: Mark and drill two 5/16” holes. Center to center separation of the holes is 6”.

Step 3: Fasten the Stretcher Saddle using the provided bolts and locking nuts. Use your best judgement when tightening the bolts. Impact drivers are not recommended.

We have drilled through and mounted directly to 1” diameter front racks on Honda Ranchers. On Polaris Rangers we mount them to the side of the box. The stake pockets on Rangers are 6” apart, just like the bushings of the Stretcher Saddle. We recommend using a small washer on the inside of the stake pocket with the locking nut, and a wider fender washer on the Stretcher Saddle side. Longer bolts will be required. Be very careful not to over tighten when mounting this way. See our pictures for reference.
